Ha Long Bay is spectacular, very relaxing atmosphere. The staff were very friendly.

Drink prices are quite expensive.

I would recommend doing the 2 nights if you have time, as you see way more. Rooms are nice, slightly dated but still great. Sitting on the balcony enjoying the views while cruising along was amazing. Staff are awesome, and Tuu, in particular, was super helpful and friendly. Food is amazing, different each night, and you won't go hungry. It caters to couples, groups, and families rather than solo travellers, but I was still looked after. The itinerary is quite full, and all of the activities on the tour were good fun. Kayaking was the highlight for me, as well as the view from the top of one of the islands. Just be aware that it can be extremely busy on the mini excursions, as every cruise and day boat tour operators go to the same places. If you do a 2 night cruise, you get transferred to a day boat on the second day where you go further out into the bay, then you arrive back at the boat around 3pm. Might want to think about that if you were hoping to just relax on the boat.

To be picky, the pearl farm was a bit boring, and tourism is ruining the area. I actually felt a little bad contributing to it myself..

The room was clean and beautiful.

Each one of the 4 meals we had was badly cooked and reheated,even when we said the breakfast bread was cold the being the exactly same bread back microwaved,no fridge in the room so if cold water needed you had to buy and drink right away and you hand even access to coffee at the breakfast without paying cruise prices.

The room and balcony were great; comfy bed, roomy bathroom, relaxing balcony with great view and tasteful and classy overal design of the room. The Asian Fusion Cuisine on the cruise was great.

We did 2 nights, 1 full day and 2 half a days. The full day everybody got sent to a much smaller boat to go on and from there do some activities, it was a very boring day. Absolutely boring. Most of the time on this day we had to sit and wait. The food that was served on this boat was terrible. We are vegetarians and the first thing we got served was a big plate of deep-fried vegetarian snacks. Most of the time vegetarians are more mindful of what they put in their bodies and they make healthier food choices, deep-fried snacks are not healthy and definitely not a good alternative to meat. Then also, the actual distance you ‘cruise’ on this trip is shockingly little. You don’t get to see much of Ha Long Bay at all. The cruise ship is more anchored then not, we were guessing to safe fuel. The amount of boats in this area of Ha Long Bay is only confirming that observation of tourists being milked. The little beach that we were brought to to swim was swarming with people. It is that crowded that you can plunge in the water, not swim. The people next to us in the water took off their baby’s nappy and threw it in the water while all laughing about their stupid, ignorant and filthy action.

I like the activities that they had planned during the trip . The food was also really good and they also pay attention to the meals regarding food allergies

We’re stay in the President room for 3 days and 2 night, the view was amazing, the room was clean and beautiful, the jacuzzi was awesome. Foods on board were fancy and delicious. the staffs were really nice, friendly and super helpful especially Jimmy and Andre.
