Where do I start!! We loved everything The staff was super kind and friendly and made you feel special and welcomed. The room was AMAZING. The food was fit for a queen We loved everything about this cruise. You could have been kept busy or just relax on the deck or your private balcony. Highly recommend cruising with Victoria Star

Amazing cruise through beautiful landscapes, the staff was absolutely delightful and the boat was definitely the prettiest of the bay. Special thanks to Vince and our waiter Louis, and of course to all the staff who made our stay dreamy!

The view that's it

Let's start with your on a time schedule as soon as your on the cruise. Designated drinking areas of a night. Service during non food service time was disgraceful non existent. You get half hour to get breakfast at 630am. The guys making cocktails double dipping in to drinks to try. And the swimming area at halong bay is polluted and dirty I'm sure the sewerage from each boat is dumped in the bay.

great cruise, it is an old boat but has a nice classic feel. rooms are comfy, food is great and the staff are awesome. we had a great time.

The cruise was good - room comfortable, friendly staff, nice food.

Not sure if it was just missed or because we used booking.com but there was no communication prior to the cruise other than that we needed to arrive at the cruise terminal. I had even messaged to clarify something and still, no arrival details given. At the terminal when you arrive, there are people everywhere (especially on a weekend) and no signage for this company. It makes it almost impossible to find the cruise. A lot of the spots visited are also very crowded but that’s the same no matter what cruise you do.

Although we booked the Victory Cruise we ended up on the Victory Star Cruise which is a larger boat owned by the same company. I understand they are very similar. The staff were lovely and tried hard to make sure we had a pleasant and memorable experience. The food was excellent and was the best part of the Cruise alongside the amazing views of beautiful Ha Long Bay. Sitting on the sun deck watching the sunset was very special. Definitely a memorable family experience.

The plastic and other rubbish in the bay detracted from the experience during the trips to caves and other sites. The beds were very firm. We were not allowed to swim off the boat.
