Staff absolutely lovely and thoughtful. We we’re arriving in the evening, and Nichole made sure that the lights of the unit were on, as well as the heater so we would be cozy when we arrived.

Nice peaceful night. Nice bed. Electric blankets was good since temps dropped to just above zero. Facilities good Good supermarket just down the road.

We travelled light with small suitcases. But there is little to no room to put them really. We managed for one night without issues. Nowhere to hang towels in bathroom

The only slightly negative thing was the bed was rather uncomfortable by being quite hard.

This place was spotlessly clean and had a very comfortable bed and pillows. It was very quiet. It was walking distance to the local bar and eateries.

We stayed overnight in Omarama on our way from Queenstown to Christchurch. Omarama is a beautiful small town, and the accommodation was well positioned for this journey. We stayed in a studio unit on Clay Cliff Lane. The unit was comfortable, warm and convenient. The bathroom was separate from the main room but still within the same unit, which worked well. The heater was sufficient, and the electric blanket was appreciated as it can get quite cold in Omarama. The kitchen was well equipped for a short stay, with the utensils and appliances we needed, including a microwave and washing-up facilities. Parking directly across from the room was also convenient. The reception team were very helpful. Reception was available until 8 pm, and they kindly offered to make arrangements for us in case we arrived late. That was much appreciated. The location is also good for exploring the area. The Clay Cliffs are nearby and worth considering, although we could not visit on the day because of rain. The road was muddy and sticky, so it did not seem sensible to attempt it then. There were also pleasant walkable areas around Omarama, and the town had the amenities we needed for a short stay. The common area on the premises would also be useful for longer stays.

There was very little that we did not like. Our stay was comfortable, and the accommodation suited our needs well. The only point to note is that weather can affect access to some nearby attractions, such as the Clay Cliffs, especially if the road becomes muddy. We would certainly return (and use the same hotel).
