Everything about this place was amazing! The staff are so lovely and so kind, and the owner took so many pictures of everyone and made me feel like a princess! The food was incredible, the rooms were gorgeous, they had private onsen and you can tell how passionate they all are about it. Will never forget this magical place!

A perfect 2 nights stay in Kinosaki Onsen. The room was exceptionally quiet and relaxing, and the staff hospitality was outstanding — everyone was kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the stay. Breakfast service was excellent, and the public onsen experience was exceptional. The atmosphere of Kinosaki at night felt very local and authentic, which made the experience even more memorable. In my opinion, Morizuya offers one of the best overall values among ryokan in the area.

Struttura meravigliosa, davvero oltre ogni aspettativa. Staff super disponibile, gentile e accogliente. Colazione e cena con porzioni davvero generose. La colazione tradizionale per gli occidentali può risultare difficile, ma comunque tutto ottimo. Kinosaki onsen ci resterà per sempre nel cuore, insieme a Morizuya.

Everything at this hotel is wonderful, but I'd like to highlight three particularly standout aspects. 1. Dinner and breakfast — these are something that foreign tourists especially should try in order to fully experience authentic Japanese dining. At this hotel, dinner and breakfast far exceed expectations and are a true representation of a traditional Japanese meal. I recommend not eating for a good while before dinner so that you're able to finish everything they bring out — and they will bring out a lot! 7–8 different dishes! All of the highest quality and flavor. 2. The yukata photo experience. The hotel owner has a passion for photography and knows exactly how to capture stunning shots. You'll be invited to choose a yukata from a wide selection of beautiful designs, helped into wearing it, and then treated to a photo and video session so you can take home wonderful memories. This experience is a lovely complement to your stay at the hotel and in the city as a whole! 3. This isn't mentioned anywhere, but the hotel provides basket-type bags for your onsen visits: you can use them to carry towels and other essentials, and they also have small waterproof pockets for wet small towels. So you don't need to worry about bringing extra bags — everything is provided by the hotel! And yes, you don't need to bring towels either — the hotel provides both a large and a small one, which you can take with you to the onsen. They also provide casual-style yukata (in addition to the decorative ones) that are comfortable to wear to the onsen, so you don't need to pack any special clothing. Travel light — everything you need for the onsen will be provided by the hotel! For all these reasons, I highly recommend staying at this hotel — you'll experience the full splendor of Kinosaki Onsen and Japanese tradition.
