Ruapehu Lodge

The location was great, plenty to do. The centre and train station within walking distance. Forest walks and activities nearby. Short drive to Cairngorms, Landmark, and Loch Morlich. Lodge was peaceful and quiet. Great for relaxing after a busy day. We enjoyed watching the ever changing weather up on the mountains from the decking area. Lodge is clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Beautiful cabin set in a wonderful holiday Park. Great location, only a short walk into Aviemore. Cabin was very well equipped and I would definitely stay there again

Very clean, felt very relaxed in the surrounding area. Although the sofas looked well used....they were sooooo comfy. Liked the huge bath sheets provided

Double Mattress could do with being renewed. Knives mixed up with utensils, quite dangerous when raking for a certain utensil. I ended up separating them. Could do with a proper container for knives. Also the ensuite shower kept running cold every 40-50 seconds. The front gate latch needing sorted.

Immaculate, clean and well stocked

A great location for the town and shops but quiet and away from roads so you can only hear the odd train passing and the birds. John at the inn (on site) was fabulous and even helped us retrieve my daughter's retainer that she had thrown away in her napkin! The lodge itself was very very clean which is always reassuring when away from home. It was well equipped and we were very glad to stay there for the week. Very easy check in and out.
