"Not the best"

2.0

We paid $70 for this property. It’s more than dated..it’s never been updated. It smells strongly of mildew and something else I couldn’t quite identify. It was a last minute booking. I couldn’t get the tv to turn on. Luckily we only slept here and did not hang out.

"Actual roach hotel"

2.0

Not kidding... smelled musty, lighting was very dark, place just felt grimy and dirty and I knew I was staying in an older place. I was not expecting a Hilton! The heater took over 12 hours to heat up the room and the water does not get beyond Luke warm. Friendly owner, cool retro bathroom flooring... I suggest to spend your money elsewhere or sleep in tour car, you may as well!

"Disgusting"

2.0

I killed 4 roaches during my stay in this disgusting motel. Do NOT stay here. The bathrooms are small and the water pressure is lacking. The walls and ceilings are cracked and falling apart. I'd leave 0 stars if I could.

"Read Before Staying"

4.0

This was the only room we could get and luckily it was for only one night. There was broken down furniture, cigarette butts, and some trash around the place. The room had a musty smell. The room was clean enough. There was a chain for a lock. We felt safe because there was a group of motorcycle bikers staying there as well. The bathroom had a window that was broken, the sink barely had any water pressure. The beds weren't comfortable. It definitely needs some upkeep. If you stay here know what you're getting into.

"Fully priced for what you get"

4.0

A friend and I were looking for two rooms in Eureka Springs during Memorial Day weekend. Everyplace was booked but this place. After staying there I know why. We each had a room on the back side of the building overlooking the woods. Along the walk way there was every type of broken chair and bench imaginable and smokers and cigarette butts everywhere. When opening the door the room had a very musty. I checked for bedbugs. None were found. My friend pulled back the bed spread and decided to sleep in his sleeping bag instead. The owners do a fair job cleaning the room and bathroom that that is why I didn't rate the room terrible. If you can stay anyplace else do so. If this is all available take the room but don't expect much (anything).

"an average quality budget room"

6.0

nothing fancy here just an average room at a budget price, friendly staff and clean room that was quiet. perfect for a no frills get away, close to the many attractions in eureka springs and a trolley stop which beat fighting traffic and having to pay for parking

"A hidden Gem on a biker weekend"

8.0

My wife and I drove to Eureka Springs this weekend on a spur of the moment deal to see the Great Passion Play. Alas when we arrived in town we found there was a Biker rally going and the city was covered in Bikers. Nothing against them as every one of them I dealt with were always friendly and polite. Only issue was just about every hotel in town was sold out with no vacancies. You could find one here and there with a room available, but due to it being Bike week they had their prices jacked up to a ridiculous rate of $140-150+ per night. And I don't mean fancy hotels like the Holiday Inn or Best Westerns. Even the normally cheap hotels got in on the act. But Thurman Lodge did not play that game. They had several vacancies and I was able to get a room on the main level with a comfortable king size bed, sofa that opened up into a bed if needed, and the room had a mini fridge, flat panel TV with plenty of channels to watch. The room was also very clean with a AC that worked very well. The free wifi worked great. All of that was just $69+tax per night for our 2 night stay. Gotta say I appreciate the hotel management not using the biker rally as a reason to price gouge travelers like most of their competition was doing. In fact I was shocked that they had rooms available with their pricing. You can bet they will be the first place I check on my next trip to Eureka Springs. One last thing. A continental breakfast consisting of cereals, fruit and pastries is included in the room price from 7:00am to 9:30am in the office.

"Ehh"

4.0

We made a last minute trip to Eureka Springs and decided to book a room here for one night. They had availability and it was fairly cheap compared to other places. Turns out it was a biker weekend. It was quite noisy but we tried to make the best of it. My wife and I went out to the parking lot so she could play with her devil sticks, and even though there were people hanging out, smoking, drinking, playing loud music, revving their motorcycles, and who knows what else, we were told that she couldn't do this in the parking lot. The man that told us this came walking from the back of the parking lot out of the woods, which was a little odd. I assume he was the owner since he was the one that told us we couldn't hang out in the parking lot. We went back to our room, a little shocked, considering there was basically one giant party going on in the parking lot and throughout the building. The woman working the front desk was very nice, as was her son. Her husband was very strange and made me feel a little uneasy with the way he acted upon our encounter in the parking lot. When we were there, we basically just stayed in the room and tried to enjoy some peace. I wouldn't stay here again unless it was out of sheer desperation. The room was ok, but definitely wasn't worth spending $70. Nothing against bikers, but I also don't want to be in Eureka during a biker rally again. Far too noisy when we're going to find peace and relaxation.
