Orchard View Yurt & Hot Tub Somerset

It was glamping at its best, with the hot tub being one of my favorite amenities. My boyfriend absolutely loved the surprise of the Yut, he loves camping and I thought this would be a good birthday treat which he loved. The Yut was lovely cosy and very warm and had so much space.

It was just a bit muddy but it’s to be expected this time of year

The Yurt is very spacious and well kitted out. I was worried it would be cold due to staying in January but there were 2 heaters and a log burner within the yurt itself. The hot tub was an added bonus and made our stay. The fairly lights were lovely!

It would have been nice for the garden lights to stay on for the duration of the evening so that we could find our way to the hot tub safely. I think it would also be great if there was a little garden table by the hot tub area to put drinks etc on and some hooks to hang up towels as it was too cold to not have towels beside the hot tub when getting out but unfortunately we had to put these on the cold, wet decking area.

Beautifully appointed with amazing attention to detail over all the little things you'd want to make life in a Yurt easy and pleasurable. All the mod cons you need in a gorgeous, super romantic environment. It's absolutely wonderful. We especially liked how private and secluded it was. For example, if you wanted to walk from the shower to the hot-tub in your birthday suit nobody is going to see but you. We also thought the price was absolutely amazing, the staff were lovely, and the location was a perfect mix of feeling out-in-the-sticks while being 10mins from a decent sized town with every amenity you might want. We'll definitely be visiting again!

The place was so comfy and cosy! I loved the sounds of nature around - horses on the field, owls, foxes, the wind and rain. I just loved it! Was definitely the break that I needed! I will definitely return!

Only 1 tiny oil heater, a heated mattress protector, small amount of logs so had to chase more but this came at an additional cost. Whilst I understand the cost... You're essentially paying extra for heating which I didn't agree with. Suitable heating should have been provided. The Yurt was freezing so definitely needed the fire to keep the place warm as the oil heater didn't really do much. I ran out of kindling, logs and fire lighters so it went so cold. I did ask for extra and no response was given for 4 hours until someone rocked up but by that point was too late. I'd already gone and bought some from a shop. I felt sorry for the lad dropping them off as he was in a rush to go and play football - had I received any form of response, I'd have informed that I'd got some elsewhere. The robe provided definitely helped keep me warm though! I was also told the Hot Tub could be connected to the phone for Bluetooth to listen to music - however this seemed to be incorrect as nothing came up when searching for Bluetooth connections.
