Close to Monteiths brewery

Used as Emergency Accommodation for NZ Housing. Not good, should have been advised of this. Room small, needs total update. Not recommended

Location was good, only a short walk into town. Parking was available on site, however this was a concern as noted below. The place was tired but maintained. The gentleman that checked us in walked me to our room. When approached with queries they were addressed straight away.

I believe that the back units of the motel are used for emergency housing, this was where my biggest concern was as there were 3 young children riding around unsupervised on their bikes and scooters weaving in and out between the guests cars.

A lack of cleanliness and several things were broken or not functional. The whole property seemed tired, untidy and uncared for.

The owners were so accomdating with fresh towels ,toilet rolls etc each morning. Very comfortable beds and clean room. Affordable place to stay.

Nothing everything was good.
