"Superb"

The friendliness of our host, Trevor, and the delicious breakfast we got every morning. Furthermore our room was very spacious with plenty of room to store our clothes and other stuff. The bathroom is also very spacious and we had plenty of towels. Everything was clean, including the crockery/glassware/cutlery in the kitchenette. It was an excellent base to explore Paihia from.

Only downside I can think of is the kitchenette may not quite have enough utensils to cook a full meal, but that's no problem given the plethora of options Paihia offers. We did make soup and hot chocolate, that was fine!

Very friendly, helpful proprietor. Excellent breakfast, good slightly off-centre location but easy access with short walk the hub of township.

One or two minor maintenance issues, the worst being the difficulty operating the bathroom sliding door. Shower water pressure was a little too low. Kettle / jug didn't appear to cut out when the water boiled. Fitting a kitchen T-towel rail would be improvement on the plastic hook. A less bright bedside/night light would have been appreciated. Consultation on the breakfast menu choice would have been preferred.

We had four generous,delicious breakfasts served promptly at 08:30 to our wee patio by Trevor. We utilized the complimentary laundry; much appreciated. The location is very good as it is as the bend in the road as Seaview becomes Marsden Road entering Paihia.

Bed too soft for our liking. Photos a bit misleading as there is no "view" from the rental rooms of the property.

Everything was wonderful. Our hosts Trevor and Lidia were so welcoming and made it feel like our home away from home. The breakfasts every morning set us up well for the day. All in all it was a wonderful place to stay.
