MIRAMARE Romantic Experience with privat Jacuzzi - floating house

We loved this houseboat. Very well stocked kitchen to cook your own meals. Stunning views of the boats / harbour. Sunsets. Dinner al fresco. Beers in the hot tub (with built in speakers for bluetooth to your playlist). Plenty of towels. A scooter to reach the shop (and amuse our boys). A restaurant with great food only a few minutes walk away. Easy access to swim in the sea. We didnt use the swimming pool, not enough time, and who doesn't prefer a swim in the ocean... We had a special time here. It's a unique and blissful place to hang out.

A tiny thing, pretty insignificant but no Shampoo or Conditioner seemed quite unusual.

It was everything I expected based on the description. Really nice boat, nice with the available bikes, nice location close to the sea.

Nothing

The boat (floating house) is very nicely set up, even though very small, you have one room with king size bed and one room with bunk bed, proper kitchen and living with all appliances. The whole upper deck is a terrace with whirpool (you pay extra for using the whirlpool, not included in the price of booking). The boat is in the back part of marina in Portoroz, there was bar/restaurant very close by. You can park directly in front of the boat and entrance to the sea is also within 50 meters.

What you don't see from the pictures is that the boat is one of MANY. You are in a line of identical boats that are half meter from each other, so during high season be ready for lots of neighbors who will be sitting in their jacuzzis few meter from you. If you are expecting the jacuzzi be ready for your arrival, you need to specify that, because it takes hours to heat up. We provided our arrival time (cca 18:00) in advance and still it was not ready when we came and was not warm until 11:30 in the night - which made it useless for us because we stayed only one night and booked the boat just for it.

There is an additional charge of €80 for the jacuzzi. Unfortunately, you cannot find this information on the booking site, it would be good if it was transparent so that there would be no hidden costs.

Everything was like was described, the boathouse is really spacious, there is also a view from the bedroom. The jacuzzi water was clean. The owner is very friendly and helpful so the ckeck in and out went very smooth. Few minutes on foot there are several restaurants and beachbars. I recommend this place for families and friends groups also.
