"Beautiful peaceful place with everything I neded"

10.0

This is a beautiful peaceful setting, with plenty of options for relaxing and dining outside. Relaxing in a lounging chair watching the sun set over the fields with only the sounds of birds and insects around you was a real treat. Within the hut itself, the hosts have thought of everything and it is very well equipped for a compact space. The decor is pretty and thoughtful. The hosts were welcoming and available if needed to offer advice on the local area but otherwise respected my privacy.

If you are a very light sleeper, the birds may bother you. In the early morning they are quite loud on the roof of the hut. This wasn't a problem for me as I only noticed it once already awake and is to be expected in this kind of accommodation but may be a problem for others.

"Shepherds delightful hut"

10.0

Great quirky Shepherds hut with all facilities included towels and bedlinen, super comfortable bed. Small shower room including toilet with towels included. Look out for the quirky nod to Hares in the hut. Neil and Linda were super hosts who were friendly, welcoming and informative. The shepherds hut is located in the couples extremely large garden, but is secluded half way down. Views of the amazing countryside can be seen, alongside Roe deer and Muncjack spotted. Neil and Linda are on hand if needed, but do not bother you otherwise. Inside was a small compact kitchen with all utilities required. We made good use of the outdoor barbecue with enough seating and tables scattered around. Neil offered us the use of the fenced area (wo-man cave) which considering the heat of Summer was a blessing for our three dogs with lots of shady areas. Would highly recommend the Shepherds hut for couples wanting to explore the beauty of Suffolk and Norfolk. We took a fan as the hut can get rather hot in Suffolk's hot Summers. The fridge is small and compact. All in all a fabulous 4 nights at Mr Hares Shepherds hut.

Nothing not to like about this great Shepherds hut.

Compact but everything there and owners very helpful. Nice and quiet location. Lovely big space for the dog to run. Would book again.

Could do with a bit of TLC but everything comfortable especially the mattress

Lovely little shepherd's hut, full of all the amenities needed to get away. Situated in a large back garden but felt completely secluded. Really felt like home from home. would definitely book again. Easy to find (Google took us straight there). Very quite location, pub 20-minute walk down the road, shops 10 minutes drive away.

It's not really a fault, but the weather, being very hot, meant the hut was stifling. Would recommend a fan to help cool in hotter weather.

Very well equipped shepherds hut in a quiet location in owners large garden. There was another large cabin opposite but looked a bit sad and unoccupied. The bed in the shepherds hut was amazingly comfortable but our silly dog managed to unlock the door with her nose as it wasn't very secure., we had to tie up with string. The shower didn't look water tight but we didn't have one. If you take a dog here you need to keep a lead on lots of gaps in the hedges to escape into the fields. Having said that I would book again, just need to be a bit more prepared.

Property was just as advertised, secluded and quiet and selection of outdoor seating areas.

Toilet got quite full by last morning.
