Nice clean family room. Bigger than we expected. Handy little kitchen area. Very good.

Lovely location, great facilities, great food.

Mattress were a little cheap feeling - too many springs. No tea/coffee in the apartment. No shower gel or shampoo in the apartment. No spot for shower gel or shampoo in the shower. No blind for the skylight so lights the whole room up in the morning.

The size of the room, it was much larger than we had expected. The bed was really comfortable and the towels and bed linen were of a high quality. The location is great, just a short, pleasant walk into Charmouth.

I couldn't get the television to work.

The alarm went off at 6am on the Sunday morning & we were outside for 40 minutes. Maintenance man was quick to arrive & turn alarm off, apologised & said the owner was on his way. When he arrived he didn’t engage with us at all, no apology, no explanation. After 20 minutes the fire brigade left & the owner told us we could go back in. Again no explanation or apology. I thought I’d ask of we got a free breakfast, given we were woken so early, his response was that as it was a safety issue he wouldn’t be doing that. It wasn’t that he said no (although a token gesture would have been nice) it was that he didn’t explain, acknowledge or apologise for the inconvenience. We did not get back to the room until 6.45, but when which time we were wide awake. Perhaps he could’ve offered a late check out, or free swim. Not the greatest customer service, especially given he was the owner.

Had to speak to the owners/managers, and they were absolutely brilliant.

Due to it being the winter season most of the holiday park was closed up including the onsite bar and shop. This was not a problem and we were advised of this in advance. Our room was in the main 'motel' block. It was warm, clean and quiet. The room was spacious and the kitchenette was reasonably well stocked.

The kitchenette was probably the weak point, as it did not have a stove top. It was also lacking a sharp knife but did have most other things.
