Camping Pods, Birchington Vale Holiday Park

Only there for one night so didn't go out and about but location good as close to lots of seasides. Dinner was good, breakfast was good but very small, would choose the bigger one next time. Pods we're located very well, close to all facilities. The pods were very clean and comfortable, just missing a TV. Staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. My son had a lovely time, made friends and was out playing into the night. Liked that everything was in one place and felt safe for children.

Food was a little pricey. Can honestly not think of anything else negative.

The camping pod was amazing. Beds were comfortable. Need to be quite organised with space inside though but didn’t feel too small. Suitcase and bags just about fit under bed (With some effort). Could take table outside for dinner. Lovely communal area with one table and bbq area in the centre of the pods. Looked pretty in the nighttime with the lights. I would have been disappointed being further back from this communal area though. There was space to play small games in front of the central pods. Had a go on the family bicycles which were really fun £16 per hour. Pool and darts available in bar/entertainment area - not too busy. Showers and toilets were always clean. These facilities were excellent. The shower gets quite hot which I liked - you can push the button in with some force and it gives you about 10-15 seconds of burst, or just hold it in.b Location is perfect. Very close to so many options for many different types of holiday.

Dogs were allowed to go to the toilet around the immediate campsite area which resulted in some dirty shoes on the way to the showers etc. Not nice. Dogs shouldn’t be allowed to poo in the immediate vicinity. The entertainment always starts late and format was a bit lacklustre even though the entertainer is actually great. Swimming a bit of a mad rush to book before spaces go. And even then it was a bit of a boring pool. Slide only open for what felt like 15 mins. Shame couldn’t drive car up to park during offload. But was only about 20 meters away. Shop provisions were lacklustre and closed early ish. Shower buttons too difficult for little ones to push.

Pods was nice , but very hot I had trouble sleeping .

To hot and the noise coming from the swimming pool was also very annoiying .also bunk beds was not made on arrival . I never been away and they don’t make beds on arrival . They stayed unmade as I had back problems
