INThe house boat is located on the shore, close to the main road but you don't hear the vehicles at all. There are a few other cafes around as well as shops nearby to buy essentials. The rooms are big, clean and spacious, with a view of the sunset on the lake. Even the bathroom is near and clean. The hosts, Ajaz and his mother, were very sweet, kind and helpful! Even though we had confirmation and paid for 3 nights with breakfast, there was some confusion at the time of check in due to a separate direct booking. Ajaz bhai,very courteously arranged our stay for 1 night at a different houseboat at no extra cost. He even arranged the shikara transfers as well as both dinner and breakfast out of his own pocket! The staff, Ramzan bhai, was great and made good home cooked food! I highly recommend this place to everyone for a very peaceful stay on the serene Nigeen lake with the gratious hosts and their yum home-cooked meals!
The sunset view from the terrace is brilliant but the roof does require some urgent repairs.

IDLa houseboat est tres belle et tres comfortable, la vue est sympa. Salle a manger et petit sallon avec petite terrasse exterieur magnifique.Dejeuner sur le roooftop sympa!
*Le proprietaite qui a voulu nous entourlouper en nous diant que les chambre etaient completes, qu'il nous surclassait, alors il fallait rajouter 50% du prix!!! Nous avons refusë et finalement dormi la avec un service irreprochable. Mais nous n avons pas dormi dans le house boat reservé mais dans un lieu a cotë.. Bref proprietaire avare... Qui essaie ensuite de vous vendre tout et n importequoi pour s'en mettre toujours plus dans les poches!!! * la position du lieu trop pres de la route

ININStaff is very good and helpful. Hospitality is super awesome, more than I expected. Bathroom, dining, bedroom everything i think about or write about is above excellent. Food is also very delicious.

GBEverything! The houseboat was beautiful. The location superb. Idyllic surroundings. You couldn't ask anymore from our wonderful host Sami. She made us feel at home, and met our every need. We ate dinner 4 nights in a row, we enjoyed top quality home cooked food that was absolutely delicious. All great value for money. Thank you so much Sami for making our time unforgettable. We will definitely return.

GBThe houseboat is in the quieter of the two lakes in Srinagar and was as peaceful as it gets. It’s roomy and beautiful and more visitors should come here. It’s situated right next to a park, meaning you can wander whenever you feel like it. There are many birds - lovely to be wakened by them in the morning - as well as sparrows and swallows, there are egrets, kites, herons and we even saw a hoopoe. Ajaz and his family went out of their way to make our stay special, with good home-cooked food.

INHost is very rude Trying to scam First he will take the bookings later he will say no room’s are full. I’ll arrange something for yoi but it will cost you extra then you’ve left with no choice but to pay extra and book the property
