Noise from car wash compressor next door?

The room was great - plenty of room. Parking was great - wide parks and easy. Position - amazing. Staff - we arrived after closing and left early next morning (on a weekend) so can’t comment but communication was fine and self check-in no problem at all. The front of the building on road was nothing to look at but the rooms, decor etc. was really good. Certainly one of the ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’ moments. Would absolutely stay again - it will be our new stopover that’s for sure. I’m grateful our usual stopover town was booked out.

Nothing really. Other than a bit of a facelift at the front - but can’t say I ‘didn’t like’ as I was aware before arriving.

Newly renovated rooms & bathrooms lovely decorated. Walking distance to club for tea & other shops.

Breakfast not provided. Good location for ease of shopping.

Cold water pipe vibrated badly in shower. Had to have it on full to stop noise which meant there was a flood of water in the shower once the hot water was mixed in to get it warm enough. An extra side table would have been good as my husband has a CPap machine and has other bits and pieces which had to go on the floor. Bed lamps would also have been appreciated instead of the glare of overhead lights when in bed reading etc.

Noisy, bright lights outside the room that lit the inside and could not be blocked out. Hammering water pipes that were so loud all I wanted to do was turn the water off for fear of disturbing others. No smart TV no hairdryer. Looked cheap and nasty from the street.
