It was clean and well supplied.

We didn't get a notification for room confirmation. No room allocated beforehand. Found a room we were later told by a cleaner it was ours. Received an email to notify us much later, and a phonecall from someone to apologise. More effort in contacting guests would be an improvement. The TV needed a bit of fiddling with. The toilet had a leak which required the tap at the back to be turned on and off after each use.

Easy check in.

Someone took my parking.

It was central to the town. Perfect to find dinner. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly and accommodating!

The front door is glass and therefore with outside lights it felt like daylight. It would be good to have a blind or curtain to cover it.

The location is great.

I had to ring up for myth room number and pin to get there key out. On arrival to the room, it was left unclean from the previous occupent.. thongs and all. Was given another room immediately and that was all grand until the mornings cold shower! Yep... there was no hot water in the shower! I am sceptical to stay there again after that experience.

Considering the price per night, the facility is not staffed and if you encounter problems, you pay a callout fee. Other local competing facilities and city hotels that charge the same prices, are staffed for the convenience of guests. The design of the cards used to indicate a request for cleaning are impractical for the type of facility. Their doors are facing outside and exposed to weather elements. So you can place a card on the door handle and it'll never be seen. Hence staffing in this facility is necessary. Wifi connectivity is very low. Even for simple phone usage, you are lucky to have 2 bars of network. By day 3 of 5, we needed and requested fresh towels. They were brought on day 4 late afternoon, after I indicated my disappointment with the service and being forced to be creative with how we dried ourself after bathing on day 4 morning. The manager further sent me an sms stating that they don't provide fresh towels daily, when I actually asked on day 3 of 5, not daily. The room only got cleaned the day we left, as if cleaning equipment & facilities were made available for us to clean for the duration of our stay should the place floor get dirty before our check out day. To think for the same price one can get a descent daily serviced HOTEL stay in the city, this is truly taking advantage of guests in this small country town. See attached screenshots.
