Was welcomed nicely.

Bed covered in plastic. Thin sheets. Made the sleeping uncomfortable. No wifi as advertised, needed a password but they don't give it to you Hair in shower- not mine. Lights above bed positioned so you hit your head on them. One of the lights was broken probably from previous people head butting it.

Room was huge, loved the shower, manager was extremely friendly

Had to make bed! Cool day and preset heating not warm enough.

Spacious room with good water pressure.

Basic room is quite spacious, has a fridge, a TV, and the normal kitchenette appliances. It was quite fresh when we stayed towards the end of July 2025. The linen supplied consisted of a sheet and a single blanket (layed across the bed to cover a queen sized bed, which also had a thick, crinkley mattress protector added for comfort... The aircon only has an on switch with no remote, as it's been "designed by engineers to maintain the best room temperature for everyone", including the owners back pocket. The shower has great water pressure, with child proof restricted tap handles that you can only turn the tap a ¼ of a turn. With only the hot water on, it managed to reach a safe temperature of "Luke Warm" after waiting several minutes for any "hot" water to reach our room. One fan can only be run on low as any other setting creates a groaning noise. Back to the bed, we decided we needed a proper blanket at the very least so I popped on over to reception which is where I was met with a "Back in 10min" sign. Meanwhile two new guests had just arrived and were wanting to check in. A short while later I thought I'd just go back to my room and use the room phone to dial reception. That's how I found the phone wasn't connected, had no power and didn't have a dial tone. I used my mobile to call and leave a message asking for a proper blanket. Roughly an hour later the manager knocked on the door, apologised for missing my call, "I was mowing up the back" he proclaimed. On top of all that, the toilet leaks and refills every half hour and the taps on the kitchenette sink have leaky washers. The taps were done up so tight it took two hands to turn them on. Change the washers management 🤦‍♂️.I guess the other two got checked in eventually 🤷 In the end, $140 is a bit of a stretch for a run down motel with a closed restaurant, though it is the cheapest.

Everything! A really great place. Close to the country club where they serve excellent food, not too far from the centre of town. Bed was great, room was clean and tidy and the staff there were fantastic. I highly recommend this place.
