The photos of the rooms accurately reflect their actual condition. The rooms are exceptionally tidy, and hot water is available for both the shower and sink. The resort owner is very helpful and extremely kind, assisting with transportation from the harbor to the hotel and back at reasonable prices. It is advisable to arrange this service to avoid being overcharged by local taxi drivers, as ride-hailing apps like Grab and Gojek do not operate on the island. Additionally, the owner can help arrange a tour guide at fair prices to explore the entire island. The breakfasts are delicious, made from fresh ingredients.

The owner is fantastic! She helped with everything - booking taxi from the port and to the port, boat booking, arranged trip to the main spots on the island. Arranged laundry service. My husband really wanted to try fishing while our time in the region and she even arranged a fishing trip with a local fisherman. They caught several tunas and the owner of the place even helped us with cooking the fish and we had an amazing baroque afternoon. One of our most favourite expiriences during the whole trip. The place was clean and nice. The garden well kept as well and the dogs really friendly and fun.

This comment is not so connected to Setilas Bulgakows so much as generally about Nusa Penida as such. What I wished we would have understood before coming to Nusa Penida (only one comment about this in the reviews): its REALLY much more harder to get around. After Gili where you can walk (or bike) everywhere and after Bali where you can get a Grab and go whenever you want to whatever you want for very affordable prices, Nusa Penida is a different experience. No Grab or Gojeck. Good that the place's owner could arrange taxi, but taxi services are much more expensive in Nusa Penida than in Bali either way.. Ofcourse, roller rent was available as well (it is cheaper than taxi), but we were too afraid to ride ourselves as the roads are not so smooth. Either way our stay was nice - besides daytrip to few view spots and fishing trip, we visited also the nearby beach club and local eatery (only places walking distance), but otherwise there is not many places to visit in walking distance as well.

This place is wonderful. We felt like home from the beginning. The manager of the place is a magnificent person. She helped us with everything (booking a taxi, booking activities, booking a boat to go to Nusa with the best prices on the island). The place is very beautiful and authentic with a beautiful garden. The rooms are very confortable and cozy with air conditioner. There is many restaurant in less than 5 minutes walking. Special thanks to the manager, we had a scooter injury in the night and she gave us medication, talked with the hospital. I really can’t thank her enough. Don’t hesitate to book this place. It will be your best choice in Nusa penida
