Riad Moroccan Style

Abdallah the host was lovely and very friendly. Although this is a one man show! He is the receptionist, cook, manager! He tries his very best but would have been better if there was more specialized staff, to deliver a better service. The terrace view was nice as well.

The rooms were exceptionally small and there was nowhere to even put our bags, or clothes. The bathroom was small and you couldn’t have a shower without flooding the whole bathroom. There was nowhere to put out toiletries. The duvets had no cover on them and truly felt it was unhygienic to use them as covers. Breakfast was very basic, orange juice every other day (not even fresh), not diverse, and only allowed one of the items offered. When it came to payment, we had to pay in cash and in Dirham at an exchange rate that was higher than what we have been exchanging our money locally. The owner was very rude on the phone, he suggested to take off 200 dirhams from the final bill if he put me as no show to avoid the booking.com fee, which I found dishonest and rejected his offer. He still put me as no show, I guess to avoid the website booking fee! Fez was a lovely place to visit but this was quiète ruined by ours experience at the Riyadh.

Great stay, host was super helpful he really went out of his way to help us. He was friendly and very accommodating. We would recommend this stay if you are in Fes! :)

The location, beautiful view from the terrace, comfy bed and the lounge decoration is beutiful!

The bedroom and specially the bathroom could be better. Not even courtains in the shower.

The landlord Abdullah was the number one asset! The rooms were great too and the food too! However the service given by Abdullah was like never seen before!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Abdullh really made our stay in the riad extremely pleasent! He helped us with everything: suggestions on things to see, where to eat, etc. He also escorted us to/from the restaurants, bus stations, shops, etc. Moreover, he made himself available to cook our breakfast even when we woke up very early due to a tour. He is a great cooker as well :) Thank you, Abdullh!

Super beautiful riad. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfortable! I will come back.

I liked that it was accessible and beautiful, the beds were very comfy and the staff was kind

The wifi connection didn’t work on our floor so we had to use data, and the shower took time to warm up
