Riad Moroccan Style

The host (Soufiane) was quite helpful. He helped us in carrying our luggage upstairs and also asked a porter for us to bring our luggage from the riad to the taxi point.

We really didn't like the location of the Riad, it felt too dirty and unsafe at night. at one instance- a small boy tried to ask us for money and when we refused, he tried to snatch my purse. We felt anxious while walking to and from the riad at night. Restaurants would close at 9:30 or 10 p.m., which would also be a challenge for us when we were returning late at night from day trips. This place is advertised as being close to "touristy spots".. but you need a taxi to go to Blue Gate or other touristy places. The beds were too creaky, and a foul drainage smell would come from the bathroom. Our room was also on the 1st-floor balcony, so every time guests were downstairs, we could hear loud noises even at 11:30 p.m. I also found the stairs to the terrace quite challenging- if you weren't careful, you could fall down and end up injuring yourself. My low rating is mostly based on the location and the challenges we faced. It's a personal experience, maybe others have had better experiences.

Everything was impeccable and to our liking, just as we had seen in the photos.

Great decor, atmosphere and hospitality. It felt like home, very relaxed and peaceful. Lovely roof terrace with great views and very nice breakfast.

Beautiful Riad, great location. Extremely friendly staff. Could not recommend this place enough. Soufiane was lovely. He even recommended places to dine and things to do at our next stop in Chefchaouen.

-Sufaan and Abdool were reeeeeeeaaally cool. We chilled and spoke to them for quite sometime which was really nice. It was as if we were sitting in a foreign country with friends. They go out of their way for you and really try their best to make your stay worthwhile. They are truly the best part of the stay and the heartbeat of this riad. -the riad is very well situated in the heart of the medina and the views from the top are mesmerizing. -the decor is quite pretty and well designed. -the breakfast was also great. Abdool is a master chef.

The only thing I wasn't too happy about was the cleanliness. The room was a bit dusty,but that's the entire medina. The sheets also had a few stains on them coupled with 1 or 2 bugs that we had encountered.

Super nice Riad, clean and cosy, an oasis in the Mdina of Fes. Our host Soufian was very friendly and helpful, on departure day he veen got up early in the morning to take us to the nearest taxi stop (he arranged our taxi beforehand).

The Riad is located in the less touristy part of the Mdina of Fed. Whether that's good or bad depends on individual preferences, we would have preferred to have a few more tourists around.

The location is great, just inside the Bab R’cif gate to the Medina so you can’t get lost and it’s so easy to get a petite taxi to other parts of Fes. The staff are so friendly and helpful and we loved the breakfast and the rooftop looks like a movie.

Riad is very well equipped. We were group of friends, accommodated in 2 rooms, which had AC. Riad was situated in the old center of Fes. It was little bit hard to find the location. Is was 10 minutes from the train station by taxi. The last 500m is necessary to walk by foot. So be aware of the location, before the check in. But the location is great, when you want to watch the old city.

Availability of accommodation

Absolutely beautiful architecture and style inside the accomm. Comfy beds, nice rooms!!Excellent rooftop with great views! Breakfast is wonderful! The staff are super lovely and go above and beyond! We had a taxi early in the morning and they walked us out to the street! And helped with everything we needed.

This is right in the Medina which means it’s down a small alleyway. Can be hard to find and lots of hagglers around so just have your wits about you and firm with the locals who try to show you the way.
