Clean, friendly and reasonably close to the beach .

It was a distance to other restaurants etc which needed a walk along a busy road to get to. In saying that, the restaurant at the guest house was adequate..

It is small enough that it isn’t hectic. The staff are amazing. Meals are delicious. The bungalows are lovely with a peaceful courtyard

As a long term traveller, I'm very picky about where I stay but I found Nirmala Guest house practically perfect. At first I stayed in the double room, then extended my stay another 1 week with an upgrade to the bungalow (for the same price if you reserve it in person off this platform). The double room had a great rice paddy view and the bungalow was really nice, spacious with a private patio too. Both had consistent hot water, were super clean (cleaning was done daily) and had comfy beds. The staff were always so nice and willing to help too. It's a 5 minutes walk from a beautiful black sand beach for peaceful walks and more dining spots nearby. I had a truly beautiful stay here.

There's an onsite restaurant that would have been nice to have more vegan options on the menu

The food was delicious, the room was clean and spacious, and the location was 5 minutes walk to main surf break of Keramus. The pool was really handy as the beach was not so good for swimming. The accommodation price was also very reasonable.
