Flaxbourne Motels

We drove in on the immaculate driveway and were welcomed at the reception. Our room was well-appointed and spotlessly clean. There were plenty of beverages and toiletries, and the bed was very comfortable. There was a good WiFi connection. The owners were very pleasant and gave great advice about going to Ward Beach, which was wonderful. This is just what a Motel should be, and we would stay again, highly recommended.

Everything was very clean and tidy. We needed to check-in late and everything was organized very smooth and uncomplicated. It was a perfect one night stay after taking the ferry and going to Christchurch the next day. The owners are so lovely and gave us some amazing hidden tips where to go. I definitely recommend staying there!

Liked the fact that we were arriving later in the night,and they left a key out for us with a light on in front of our room. Perfect place to stay waiting too catch the ferry in the morning.

Road noise

Best (only) place for miles around! Clean and modern inside, with everything needed for a short stop or a longer stay. Would gladly book again. Staff a pleasure to deal with and great help.
