Bunaken Divers Sea Breeze Resort

Die Bungalows sind direkt am Meer. Das Resort liegt nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Hafen entfernt. Das Tauchen mit dem Guide Micky war außergewöhnlich und herausragend. Er hat sich immer sehr viel Mühe gegeben uns die Besonderheiten und Meeresbewohner an den Dive Sites zu zeigen. Das haben wir in dieser tollen Art nur selten erlebt. Die Tauchplätze sind teilweise stark unter dem Einfluss von Strömungen und somit eher was für geübte Taucher. Man sollte als Taucher wissen was man tut und auch die Verantwortung für sich selbst übernehmen. Zusammenfassend waren es aber tolle Tauchgänge und die Bunaken haben sich von ihrer schönsten Seite gezeigt. Das werden wir nicht mehr vergessen. Die Speisen der Vollpension sind lecker und immer frisch zubereitet. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Terry als Host war ebenfalls sehr angenehm und hat uns stets auf Nachfragen Auskunft über die örtlichen Gegebenheiten gegeben. Wir haben leider über booking.com gebucht. Über direkte Anfragen beim Resort sind auch Kombi-Pakete mit Tauchangeboten und Bungalow zu erlangen.

Die gesamte Anlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und augenscheinlich hat sich seit 10 Jahren laut den Bildern von Google nicht viel verändert. Das Leitungswasser ist etwas salzig aber man gewöhnt sich schnell dran und es ist dann ganz in Ordnung. Die Tauchausrüstung wird normalerweise mit Regenwasser gespült. Bei unserem Aufenthalt hat es jedoch zuvor wochenlang nicht geregnet und es gab dementsprechend kein Regenwasser. Daher wurde die Ausrüstung mit Meerwasser gespült. Das hat man leider bemerkt und die Ausrüstung ist teilweise etwas undicht und verliert geringfügig Druck. Dies betrifft natürlich auch die eigene Ausrüstung wie z.B. Kameraequipment.

If you are after tranquil and quiet, off-grid rest this is 100% the spot. The hosts and staff are lovely. Full board meals delicious and packed with goodness. Ive not experienced such deep rest in many years. If I won the lottery I would totally ask to buy one of the seafront bungalows to stay permanent. Simple living in the most glorious spot. Snorkeling is also so wonderful. I hardly want to tell about it, in fear to many people know. Its wonderful.

Finding the entrance gate was hard. We went a couple of times up and down the hill. The grounds needs a bit of tending. But these are the only minor things we could mention.

Amazing place! We had a wonderful time at Sea Breeze. Terry and his wife do everything to make your stay comfortable and pleasant, and were happy to help us with anything. The personal touch makes it a very special experience. The diving and snorkelling was amazing, and Terry really tries to pick out the best spots. Highly recommend!

The water from the shower is salty. Not a dealbreaker at all, but a shower with clean water after diving would be nice.

Shower is salt water. At low tide you can't snorkel from the resort so basically you may be limited to either morning or afternoon snorkeling only.

The location is beautiful and Terry and Diane go to great length to make the stay comfortable. The dives obviously are fantastic and the joined meals and setting make it a great place to mingle.

Nothing really. The bungalows according to some reviews are to old, but the seafront bungalows we stayed in were great and then hammock outside above the reef almost is the best place to relax in the breeze.

Good food but not a lot, sometimes we were still hungry. Sea in front of the accommodation.

Pictures are from 10 years ago. In our room were mice and it’s definitely not a 3 star accommodation. The accommodation we went after was way more clean and had a lot more service for a much cheaper price. They also told us that we had to dive there or we had to leave. We decided in the end to leave and stay at another accommodation because we liked to dive with them and felt more welcomed there.

The place is amazing, close of some lovely village, just in front of a coral reef to do snorkeling, seems an aquarium. Awesome views from the bungalow and from the hammock. And Terry and his team was perfect, always keeping an eye for your needs. The dive was crazy, more than 20 turtles in just one dive. Finally, the food was delicious, local food with high level, and… cold beer! Thanks for those stunning days in Bunaken Terry!

Maybe the bathroom, but it is normal in the little islands.
