Bunaken Divers Sea Breeze Resort

The staff, the excellent local food, diving instructors, chatting with other guests during meals - you can go alone and still feel at home.

The bungalow needed maintenance/cleaning.

The location is nice and the diving was good, but you can hardly go wrong in the Bunaken with the beautiful reefs.

The resort's best years are long behind it. Everything is run down and in desperate need of renovation. The photos used for advertising are at least 15 years old. The area is fenced in with a rusty, dilapidated corrugated iron fence and there are several collapsed buildings on the unkempt site. The cleanliness of the bungalows, especially the beds (better not to look under the sheets), leaves a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, the food was very monotonous as the menus were repeated after 3 days. .

Great, homely & friendly place to stay. All the staff were lovely & helpful. Terry & Diana (the owners) were also lovely & super helpful. Terry is a fabulous dive instructor; he was kind & patient when putting us through our open water dive certificate. The view from our room was awesome. We watched the beautiful sunrise every morning. The food was fantastic, and they catered for our vegan diet, very happy about that. Probably a few kilos heavier :)! We had a fantastic holiday and highly recommend Seabreeze Resort for scuba diving & snorkeling holiday!

Our stay in Terry‘s resort was great! Diving was very well organized, the equipment and the dive masters were very good and we always felt safe. One of the highlights was the excellent food which was freshly prepared just for us three times a day! Make sure you rent one of the beach view bungalows to get the best view. The bungalows are simple but equipped with everything you need (no warm water, WIFI will be back soon). Only some of them might need a little refresh but that is constantly taken care of.
