歴史ある美しい建物でした。 スパも温泉も綺麗で最高です。 旅館ではめずらしくバーがあり、楽しめました。

Struttura immersa nel verde, camera ampissima, stile ed arredamento tipicamente giapponese. Calidarium e onsen perfetti. Spazio piscina molto godibile.

Pur chiedendolo in anticipo non è stato possibile organizzare la colazione o la cena in struttura. Abbiamo anche provato a chiederlo a ridosso del nostro check-in e nel corso del soggiorno. Nelle vicinanze scarseggiano ristoranti o tavole calde. Ci hanno proposto in alternativa due menù di due ristoranti che consegnano direttamente in struttura e il personale porta il tutto in camera a prezzi onesti. La struttura è sicuramente meritevole di migliore manutenzione in alcuni punti.

Die Lage ist wirklich hervorragend, ebenso wie die gesamte Einrichtung. Die Badeanlage, Sauna, Onsen usw. sind wirklich sehr angenehm und schön gemacht. Unser Zimmer war ebenfalls toll und die Angestellten sind sehr hilfsbereit und nett (Japanisch von Vorteil)

Meillä ei ollut aamiaista. Olisin halunnut aamiaisen ja illallisen, mutta sitä ei ollut meille saatavilla.

Olisi ollut kiva kyetä varaamaan ateriat, mutta niitä ei varausprosessissa meille tarjottu. Ja kun viestillä kyselin myöhemmin, niitä ei enää ollut saatavilla. Oli kuulemma loppuunmyyty.

This is a very traditional hotel so if you're not Japanese, don't stay here unless you're prepared to conform to the traditions and at least learn a little bit of basic Japanese when speaking to staff. The hotel itself had amazing spa facilities that we made use of throughout our stay with no trouble at all. Experiencing an authentic onsen is certainly not for everyone but we really enjoyed it at this hotel.

There was no option to book Dinner or Breakfast via booking.com. We attempted to book this a week before our stay but unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked for our first two nights and the prices offered for booking dinner on the final night (as they had space in the restaurant) was very expensive. Fortunately the hotel receptionist on our first night offered to book us a table at a restaurant in Shimoda as well as book us a taxi there. The local train runs until around 10pm so eating out in the town was fairly straightforward each evening.
