Very co operative and well behavior... hospitality is excellent... food were very nice and healthy... rooms are good and maintain well..

Outer structure and its bamboo rooftop and covers are very old... doesn't match with the picture what they are showing in booking. com

I didn't know what to expect of the houseboat but I was very pleasantly surprised by the boat - from start to finish it was a brilliant part of our holiday. Shenil was amazing, extremely communicative from the start and helped arrange our transport to the next stop. The team on-board were kind, warm and such great hosts. And the food. It was unreal. If you eat fish, make sure you let them know so they can prepare some of the best food i've eaten. And take them up on the offer for the canoe trip down the narrow canals, it's so beautiful.

Unfortunately the AC stopped working in one of the bedrooms during the night, making for a very warm night's sleep for some of the group. That wasn't in my room though, so won't complain too much.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience on our 2-night houseboat cruise! From the moment we stepped aboard, Shenil—the manager—made us feel completely welcomed and well taken care of. His professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail truly elevated the entire trip. The rest of the staff were equally exceptional. Every member of the team was friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay comfortable and memorable. Their hospitality made the boat feel like a home away from home. The beautiful scenery along the waterways made every moment special, and the stunning sunsets each evening were truly unforgettable. We also loved spotting the local wildlife throughout the journey—it was the perfect touch that made the experience even more magical. And the food—wow! Every meal was delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The variety and quality far exceeded our expectations, and you could really taste the care that went into every dish. Overall, the combination of outstanding service, excellent food, breathtaking views, and peaceful natural surroundings made this cruise an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend it and would love to return!

We liked everything! From the customer service, the boat, the crew members and especially the food! You feel taken care and loved from the food. It was freshly made on the boat.

Brilliant team who look after you so well. Comfortable bedroom with AC at night. Food was delicious. Not super luxury but more rustic and simple. The route was serene with very few other boats.

We stayed for one night and we had an amazing time. After a few days in the heat of a crowded city, we needed to relax and Marvel cruise provided that perfectly. The boat is really charming and authentic. For those asking, we informed the manager that we would only arrive around 1pm because of the time our train arrived and this was perfectly fine. They were waiting for us and we were alone on the boat which has only 2 cabins. We cruised around and had a great relaxing moment. Food on board was delicious, the crew of 3 people were very kind and chatting with us. We slept perfectly well This is definitely a must do if you go to Kerala

Bait & switch - We had booked with Marvel Cruise. At the last minute Marvel rep called to say their boat is being repaired and enticed us with an upgrade to Dream Cruise. This turned out to be the worst experience ever. Everything in the boat is broken. No knobs for taps. No hot water. No shower. No soap. It’s all very dirty. Lizards everywhere. On the roof deck plastic patchwork where there should be a bamboo shade. Only one bed on the roof deck and no awning to provide shade.

Not very clean; everything should be properly wiped; the exposed bamboo ceiling very dusty. The grass rug on the roof terrace flapped around in the wind, should be glued down The room should have carpet, not plastic grass rug There should be garbage cans on roof deck Food was ok, but cold and got diarrhea. Stair Steps are slippery; I slipped, fell and got hurt. Floor is too dirty to walk bare feet and socks too slippery for the glossy steps. Need traction strips on steps. Missing knobs on sink and bath tub faucets Roof deck sink faucet is loose and leaking and dripping on the steps below. Paying for booking worked after several tries; I had to pay via direct transfer to a personal bank account, in order for the houseboat company to avoid credit card charges.
