Violet 28 Oakdene Forest Park

Loved the location and a lovely spot on where it's situated on the site 😀 absolutely loved our stay here .

The sofa bed wasn't the most comfortable to sit on or sleep but that's the only thing as we loved our stay.

This mobile home Violet 28 is located in a corner of the Oakdene Forest Park. From the kitchen table you look into the forrest, which is very beautiful. It is more a house than a mobile home with much more space than any hotel room I have ever had. And it has everything you need, including lovely decoration. I would definitely book it again.

Nothing DO NOT GO HERE

I stayed at this accommodation recently, and I truly do urge people to stay away. I arrived on the Sunday and me and my family had packed our stuff and moved to another accommodation by 10am the next day. The fridge was absolutely disgusting, to the point I didnt even put my food in there with hair, grime, dog hair and general dirt. There was dirt and dog hair in all of the beds, I had even suspected that the bedsheets were not changed to begin with. Thick layers of dust and dog hair over the entire place. The cups had a putrid smell and my entire family refused to drink from them. There was a lingering smell in the bathroom, the smell truly was unbearable. Again, resulted in my family refusing to use it. The standards really were absolutely appalling. This is not a holiday or a break for anybody, this is a quick money making scheme for an owner who couldn’t care less if he had tried. He completely refused to address any of my concerns and complaints. We weren’t even in his property for 24 hours, and completely refused to even discuss even a partial refund after stating through text he will provide a refund after inspection of the property. And in all honesty I think the property was cleaner when we left! I text the owner on the first night and even asked if the issues could be fixed instead of us leaving but again completely refused to even try and assist!

the host was really attentive and responsive to anything we asked. The location of the house is the best one within the park. There is a good seating area in the balcony with a nice seating set. The room was quiet.

The cleaning of the house wasn't 100%, there were fluff on the sofa cloth. The sofa wasn't comfortable enough sit and chill. The house was a bit stuffy and it felt like we visited someone.

It was in a Lovely place. A nice little private garden. Everything you need in a kitchen for a good stay. The site was very clean. We had a small problem with the shower that the owner dealt with promptly. A good place to take your pet.

The cleaning could have been better but as I am fussy I always take products with me. To be fare to the cleaners, my main Complaint would have to be the clutter. Personal items on every surface. Not much storage space around to put your own items away as every cupboard draw and shelving was taken up. I know this has been mentioned previously and the owner addressed it, as home from home. But it's not, it's for holiday guests. The last issue is the steps up the the veranda. Very unsafe and feels like they will collapse at anytime

The Lodge was lovely .Very nice part of the site very friendly wild life . Had some good days out around dorset. Would go back for another stay as we did enjoy. Weather was up and down .

Found the sofa and chair not very comfortable . The knob on the cooker was broken and glued. And the shower head needs a good clean .
