Location was extremely convenient and perfect place to stay w our dog. We came to hike Wolf State Park which was 5 minutes away. Very convenient to downtown freeport also. Cottages have some places to walk w your dog also. Baked breakfast goods were an unexpected treat. Really appreciated the front porch to sit. Heat or air conditioning was greatly appreciated.

Not really able to cook, microwave wouldn't work, hot plate too dangerous to cook on. Did boil water though. Cottage a bit cramped, so would rent a larger one next time. But all in all, we enjoyed our stay w our pup very much.

Very nice location w lots of trees and parking.

One of our group is 6'5", the bed was a little small for him.

We had a group four families so had four different cottages. Two of the cottages were obviously older than the other two and were clearly in need of updating, however the price was the same as the cottages that were newer and definitely in better condition. Ours had a fireplace in it and the smell of smoke saturated the whole cottage. It was disgusting. Don’t stay there!!

It was quaint and lovely. Breakfast every morning was delicious.

Home cooked muffins etc- Good coffee- Good travel breakfast Lovely old style family run motel in rural Maine. Expect pine walls and floors. Woodsy. The opposite of corporate.

Eine Unterkunft der Extraklasse, letztlich eine Hütte im Wald. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen, Küche ist Komplett ausgestattet. Das absolute Highlight ist der Kamin, den man abends anfeuern kann. Die Lage zum Outlet ist natürlich auch nicht zu verachten. Alles ist wahnsininig gemütlich. Bett ist sehr bequem.

Der einzige Wermutstropfen ist, dass die Hütten in der Nähe der Autobahn sind, das bringt eine ziemliche Geräuschkulisse mit sich, und das auch über Nacht.

I like the individual cabinet style unit. Cabins were designed with a vintage feel. Cozy.

Windows need new blinds or drapes. Cabin looked like a work in progress. Old non-functioning broken heater unit still sits unplugged should be removed and patched. Outside and inside needs sprucing up.

This place is such a gem. The perfect cottage that has great amenities for a great price. The bed was super comfortable. Nice kitchen, seating area, and a fireplace with wood provided! They even had some nice baked goods and coffee in the morning. The staff is also very friendly.
