Palm Tropics Motel

The Palm Tropics is where I stay when visiting Glendora, CA. Its a classic Route 66 motel, not fancy, but clean and convenient, and I've always found the staff friendly. Historic downtown is a reasonable walk away through nice neighborhoods -- the entirety of the town and the San Gabriel Valley is easily accessible by car. The Hat, with excellent sandwiches, is right next door.

I liked the location for us. Everything was well maintained, the buildings and the landscape. I liked how an old motor motel looked so appealing.

It could use some interior upgrades but all and all it was pretty nice.

Typical basic Motel. But the rooms were large, clean, the bed comfortable, the shower hot. It was cool when we were there so can't comment about the air con.

No breakfast, not luxurious. Location was convenient for us, short walk to the Cougars Athletic Stadium.

Nothing

It was dirty and run down almost everything was broken or patched . The staff was not very friendly and not available when needed . I complained to booking and got nowhere complained to the property and no response . I give it a rating of a -1 . Do not stay here sleep in you car it will be a better night sleep .

Room was very large and comfortable.

Mattress seemed a bit lumpy.
