The Magical Teepee Experience

We loved our stay - the hosts were amazing and so friendly. The facilities were great, the kitchen more than adequate for the guests, just maybe an extra fridge needed when all the teepee's are booked. Great base station to explore Hogsback completely, we did everything we could in 3 days, but so much more to explore. The bed is huge, but maybe a little hard for my liking, slightly softer would be great, but the teepee is indeed Magical.

There are a few maintenance issues needed on the decking, but the owners were busy with them while we were there and they have only had the place for 4 months so getting stuck in was great to see. The fireplace in the teepee is such a novel idea, but be careful of not making the fire too big or else it can get a bit smoky, so trial and error and you smell no smoke and the smoke vents out the top, but keeps the teepee nice and cozy warm.

The owners are very sweet and helpful people who made us feel very welcome, the teepee was well kitted out for a glamping experience, warm, cozy and comfortable, the shared kitchen is stylish and has everything you need, the grounds are absolutely beautiful, and each teepee has its own bathroom. I will definitely go back there to wake up to baboons, monkeys, cows, pigs and birds. Wonderful! Thank you!

The teepees are really unique and has a beautiful cozy feel. They are extremely comfortable and it has a whimsical feel about it. My husband and I loved our stay. The hosts were really lovely and provided us with a lot of information. You also have your own bathroom off of the teepee which had all the necessities and you could leave your stuff in the bathroom without carrying it back and forth. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay special for our honeymoon and arranged a delicious picnic basket for us. We really felt at home over the holidays. The kitchen was well equipped with a lovely deck area to soak in the views.

The bathrooms are not ensuite which can be slightly challenging during a rainy time
