"The property was special and had unique features that made the stay even more magical."

The property was unique and made you feel like you were on a magical camping trip. The small details and design really made the stay special. The facilities were great, and the organisation and layout of the property were also good.

Nothing, the property was exactly was what it looked in photos and the stay is was the special outdoor experience which I needed.

"Definitely a must do in Winter!!!"

Unique accommodation and a must try in Winter. We would have loved to experience the chiminea in the ten but the heat didn't allow us to use it as we went in the middle of summer. Loved that it was something entirely different to what I'm used to.

Not that we didn't like it, just very hot in summer. Definitely a winter break away more than the summer heat in the tent. 😁 35°C wasn't a joke.

"safety is a huge concern, avoid."

owners have no idea what is going on and do not care for your safety. we were international travellers driving for hours to get to Hogsback, the staff were not responsive when we had issues with road closures. did not care at all and were completely unhelpful. luckily found a nice service station attendant to help us but good lord, the Eastern Cape is dire. avoid and stay in the Western Cape, it’s much safer and nicer. couldn’t even access the property due to a fallen tree across the road. again, staff had no idea and just kind of shrugged her shoulders. could not provide ETA on when the property would be accessible and with heavy rain conditions and loadshedding, we found other accommodation. don’t stay here. if anything goes wrong, they don’t care at all, won’t answer the phone and will still charge you full price.

"Great holiday in nature."

The location and the set-up was fantastic. Friendly hosts and very clean considering you are completely surrounded by nature. Everything needed for a self-catering stay was provided. Safer than I expected it to be.

Not much. Roads to the area does need a higher car though.

Very good book-in instructions. Awesome shower for "camping". Bed sleeps amazing. Nice kitchen and braai setup. Everything was awesome.

It was really quiet - with me being a scaredy pants, it was a bit scary lol.
