"Nice place, shame about the dinner!"

Again, it was centrally located with easy walking to most of the attractions. The welcome was professional and courteous, despite the language barrier. The room we occupied was enormous.

The only aspect we didn’t enjoy was the dinner. It was a set Japanese menu, but it was very bland, with most of the 9 courses tasting very similar. Breakfast was tasty.

"Peaceful and 'authentically' Japanese. Loved it!"

A wonderfully relaxing place to stay. So peaceful and quiet I almost felt like the only guest! Loved the 'traditional' Japanese layout and styling. The (Japanese) breakfasts and dinners were fantastic and added to the feeling that I was experiencing authentic Japanese hospitality. Location was also great as everything I wanted to see in Kanazawa was all within easy walking distance.
