Oyado Matsubaya

De eigenaar is een geweldige entertainer, een geweldige kok en een fijn persoon. Eerder inchecken was geen probleem. Het ontbijt en diner waren voortreffelijk en het hotel/de oyado is erg charmant, het is wat ouderwets maar dat vind ik juist bijdrage aan de charme. De gedeelde badruimte (de sento) was schoon en lekker warm, vooral na een dag hiken.

Ik vind als zijslaper dat de tatamibedden een beetje aan de dunne kant waren, maar dat ligt denk ik vooral aan dat ik niet gewend ben erop te slapen.

谷川岳だけ登山後に温泉を楽しめる宿としては良い選択肢になります。 サービスのピアノの演奏が素敵でした。

ゴミは持ち帰らなければなりません。 設備面も古いため清潔感をどの程度感じるかは人によります。しかし備品は目新しいものが多いです。

The rooms are cute, clean, and recently renovated. They use mostly natural materials and I was not bothered by any kind of synthetic smells typical of Japanese residential renovations. The Staff however, is simply amazing. The front desk staff will play music for you when you arrive and depart, and is a man living by his passion. The owner is a very sweet and kind person and both of them helped me immensely. I have nothing but gratitude for them both.

Although it's next to the train tracks, the rooms are lower and a bit off so the train sound is hardly noticable.

部屋は広くて、綺麗です。スタッフの笑顔も素敵でした💓

風呂が良い

エレベーターなし。年寄り子供、障碍者に配慮なし。布団がせんべい布団で痛かった。

The old guy at reception was the sweetest guy. Said his English wasn’t great but did an awesome job of explaining everything to us. It was a quaint, modest place that felt very welcoming. We got to set up our own futon instead of staff coming in and doing it for us. We Really enjoyed the privacy and it was a fun experience. View was amazing. We had a smoking room, it didn’t smell of smoke at all. Dinner offered was not your typical Ryokan, it had options like spaghetti bolognese. I loved it here.

スタッフの方がとても優しくておもしろくて最高でした。 古い建物でしたがきれいにされてました。

少し埃臭かったのとトイレの便器が汚れていたのだけ気になりました。

staff attitude was warm, friendly and inviting. got great vibes from all of the different staff members.

nothing in particular that was bad.
