Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t as smooth as we hoped. When we arrived, they didn’t even seem to know we were coming. The lady we spoke with was very kind, but she barely spoke English, she simply pointed at a phone number we had to call. We tried calling, but even then communication was quite difficult (even though it’s stated that the staff speak English). After several calls, they finally confirmed our reservation and gave us the room. However, the room itself had a noticeable smell of rice (I’m very sensitive to scents), it was quite dark inside, and there was no hammock, even though it was shown in the photos and was one of the reasons I chose this hotel in the first place. Sadly, the whole situation left a negative impression and affected my overall rating.

It was run-down and filthy. Although we pre-paid, we took one look at the dilapidated and uncarred for building and we left.
GBGBThe location is very convenient for the Takuapa bus station and the local market. The view from our window was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable with good air conditioning. We really enjoyed our stay here and it was good value.
