Unelma Bungalows

The location in Bucerias is excellent. Rooms were cleaner and there is private access to the beach which is excellently maintained. Perla was a wonderful host.

The mosquitos got their money's worth with me. Other than that, all is well.

The location was great and the Bungalows were very comfortable & cozy, amazingly spotless, and the grounds were beautifully landscaped. It was our first visit to Unelma and we'd absolutely go back.

The only thing we didn't like was leaving.

The location was close to all restaurants. It is beach front so from your room you could hear the waves. The staff come by each day and clean your room and the pool as well as tidy up the property. We had the property to ourselves due to low season so it felt like it was our home. You have your own private beach area roped off. The place is so well maintained and in superb condition. Fridge, stove, and coffee maker provided. Filtered water available.

Just one thing. When you come back at night you need to use your gate code to get in. The second gate has no evening light so you have to remember to bring your cell phone to provide light to enter your code.

This place is a hidden gem. The staff maintain it so nicely - trimming the foliage, keeping the pool clean, keeping all the amenities clean, etc. It's decorated top notch. It feels like you are in the jungle with vibrant colors and artwork to look at. The bungalows are really a piece of art.

Unfortunately, there were a LOT of mosquitos everywhere. Also, because it's so quiet and tranquil, it means that the mosquitos have less targets to go after. Even after applying mosquito repellent multiple times a day, everyone in our family got bit a ton.

Perfect location, direct access to the beach. Restaurant (Encore) at the property. Walking distance to many other restaurants. Walking distance to Dream Body Clinic. Very well maintained by Maria (housekeeper) and Oscar (gardener).

the location was great and being our private pool etc was awesome.. would have liked a king size bed but that was not really an issue. It said a safe was in the room but there was not so lucky for us we had friends and used theirs. no response when we asked where it was. a little hard to communicate as no one spoke english. Love the towels so tell me where you got them, thanks

the bathroom window was directly to the laundry and I could see people so I'm sure they could hear and see, would like a better lock etc on that window since it is ground level.

Everything was amazing, location, the restaurants near by. Breakfast at my balcony every morning. lots of natural light in the room. Oscar and Timo are very attentive. Can't wait to go back.
