Usk Valley Shepherd's Hut

Amazing view and location. They had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay, excellent facilities for cooking on the fire. We were very lucky with the weather but I'm sure it would have even been lovely in the rain! We loved the homemade jams and apple juice and there were many helpful items avaliable in the hut including an OS map of the nearby area. Wonderful hosts including Bundle!

Wish there was more homemade jam for sale!... Seriously can't fault it here, would love to stay again.

It was my first time in a shepherds hut, which was so cosy and close to nature. Really enjoyed the warm welcome from the hosts. Waking up to beautiful scenery and amazing starry skies at night.

A lovely tranquil hut, located in an equally beautiful area. Everything you need for the perfect escape from busy life, this property is secluded and even comes with two very friendly dogs! We couldn’t recommend it enough - an absolute must for anyone looking to experience this part of Wales in all of its beauty.

I booked this hut as I hoped it would be peaceful and quiet. I was pleasantly surprised as it was perfect in being peaceful, quiet and with beautiful views. everything is simplistic and satisfyingly easy in a rustic way. The hut is comfortable and appears to have the only things you need to get away from the everyday activities of the fast-running world. Take a book or your walking shoes and enjoy the real fresh air of the countryside. I even loved the cute battery powered shower unit. This was just perfectly peaceful and with no one disturbing your time. I will not hesitate to book again.
