It was super clean, air conditioning was amazing. Breakfast was very good. Very pretty. They offered bike rental.

Roosters were yelling all the time.

We stayed for 7 nights in August at Meno charm. The highlight was the staff members that worked at Meno charm. Ria and her colleagues were really friendly, helpful and kind. We had a lot of good laughs and talks with them during the 7 nights we stayed there. Every time we needed something, like extra clothes hangers, they provided in a timely fashion. Really nice staff. They made really good breakfast, you get fruits, fruit juice, pancakes/noodles/french toasts AND coffee. Delicious, thanks! We liked our little outside spot where we could chill and relax privately in the morning and after snorkeling sessions. They also allowed us to check out a little bit later the last day, which was appreciated, since our fast boat was at 2 PM. Of course there are roosters and a Mosque, this is Indonesia! Some people need to stop complaining about this. Just bring ear plugs and adapt to the situation. Easy fix! These 2 things never bothered us thanks to our ear plugs.

This place is very understaffed. The first few nights that we stayed there, they were only 2 people to do everything, but the biggest problem, by far, is the bathroom. It is so humid, it is disgusting. The bathroom had potential, the size is good and the counter is big, but the shower gets filled with water quickly. You have to stop it and use a tool to push the water down the hole. Even then, it does not work. Water spills everywhere outside of the shower even if you try not to, and the bathroom floor is made out of wood, so water gets on the wooden floor all the time. There is mold growing on the bathroom walls and the wooden floor starts to move because of the water, humidity and mold. Definitely disgusting. This is a design issue, the shower should be redone completely and there should at least be a fan in the bathroom, and a window that you can open more. This problem is so BIG that MUSHROOMS started growing in the bathroom during our stay! One morning, there was nothing, the next day, we had full-grown mushrooms. We are not kidding. See pictures. During the last 2 days of our stay, the owner named Kristin came to the island. We talked to her privately about this huge mold problem, and she just brushed me away. She said "right now it's high season, we'll take care of it after the summer" and continued browsing her phone. We showed her the pictures the next day and she said they'll take care of it later, jaded. She never apologized. Never offered any compensation. She always talked over me when I tried to explain the situation. This is so rude! Try to listen more. Be empathetic.

Great room for the budget pricing!

Good room for one day escape on Gili Meno. We liked AC, very clean room, friendly staff and nice terrace. Good breakfast (coffee/tea, fresh juice, eggs/toast and fruit platter).

Thin pillow, no hot water.

Nice little units on Gili Meno run bu a friendly family, clean and fairly modern considering the other options on the island. Breakfast was good and helped start the days right :-)

Roosters, roosters, roosters … unfortunately you are surrounded by noisy roosters constantly! During our stay they made noise at various times during the day and were especially noisy around 3am until the morning time. If you’re a light sleeper you may struggle as we did! There are no blinds or curtains in the room or bathroom so it lacked some privacy and was also quite bright while sleeping.

It was perfect for what we were looking for.

The way to the place is a little bit odd. But it is okay.

Gizul our host was brilliant, and was so helpful. The location it’s great and with a bike rental everything in the island is accessible. great value for money.

We had an unfortunate bathroom leak in the early hours of the morning via the bathroom that we couldn’t resolve until a couple of hours later. Our host was very apologetic, and swiftly moved us to alternative accommodation.

The bed was very comfy and the room was very clean. Great breakfast included! The staff is very nice. Very close to the beach! Great wifi in the room!!

No curtains so it makes it hard to sleep in the early morning. Also a lot of noise from the animals around. But I still enjoyed my time in meno charm!!!
