Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu

Clean facilities, with lots of options for private outdoor baths. Very helpful and friendly staff.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was explained to us. The room was lovely with the fantastic private onsen. We had a unique experience sleeping on the traditional futons. We also used the private onsen on the premises and it was fabulous. The massage chairs were great. The food was amazing, there was just too much of it)

It would be nice to have an option to choose to have either meat or fish meal. We also didn’t enjoy watching the poor oyster being cooked alive in front of us.

We loved our stay at Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu! The food, service, relaxing atmosphere and hospitality were exceptional. We also really liked that they have several private baths in addition to the public baths available for guests to use. Wifi was also pretty good!

I LOVED this stay. The ryokan is exactly what you want from an authentic Japanese ryokan experience. You are welcomed by the staff and provided a welcome drink. Then you get a tour of the property and your room. The property has all the needed facilities: public and private onsens, massage chairs, coffee/tea/water. The breakfast and diner are 10/10 quality and fresh, we were completely satisfied after. As for a day activity: panorama terrace going with a cable cart to the top of a mountain to view mount fuji: 10/10. Walking distance from the property. The town doesn’t provide much else to do. Room was cleaned daily and the futon beds are made for you.

There was only one staffmember who spoke a bit of english. The rest was Japanese only, so the language barrier was a bit of a challenge. HOWEVER: this is 100% on us not understanding Japanese, not on them not understanding English. We are in their country doing their specific Japanese experience. We came a long way with Google Translate

人と被る事なく貸切露天風呂が満喫できたこと。

担当の仲居さん外国人だった事と、刺青に差別とかないが、全身の刺青を見せびらかした若者が堂々と半袖Tシャツで歩き回ったり、食事しているのはちょっと…長袖を着るなり隠して欲しかった。
