Whitianga Motel

Everything was great. Location right next to restaurants/coffee shops and waterfront. Easy parking. Host was excellent at communicating prior to my arrival kindly answering all my questions.

Staying here is like travelling back in time, retro but well maintained, all the facilities you need and Joyce was wonderful. The owners Ross and Sue are extremely helpful and gave us plenty of information and guidance prior to our arrival. Location was perfect and we could not have been happier with our choice.

Nothing we didn’t like, wish we could have stayed longer.

Ross is a nice individual, his mom very lovely. The place is comfortable.

A lovely room with nice furnishings. There is no AC, but the ceiling fan and open windows did a great job cooling the room.

I’m sure the neighborhood was very safe, but it was a tad nerve wracking that there were no screens on any windows, and we had to have the window open right next to the door (which someone could have just reached in and unlocked). Probably irrational, but the lack of screens seemed odd.
