Whitianga Motel

Great staff to deal with. Free laundry facilities and the kind use of a shovel for Hot Water Beach. The motel is old but has been renovated well to have fresh appeal.

Location is fantastic, short walk to restaurants and bars and the shops, plus the beach is a 2 min walk away.

Bed was not comfortable and pillows were too soft and thin.

Close to beach and town. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Private clothes line. Back gate leads to beach road. Everything I needed.

All round facilities provided and comfort.

A comfortable, well equipped apartment. Ideal location for both the Beach, pubs & restaurants as well as the town. Good communication from the owners.

The step up into the shower was a bit tricky but manageable.

A bit dated

As it was our first visit to New Zealand, and our first stop, it was great. Check in was easy, once I checked my email, and the location was perfect. Quiet area and walking distance to all we needed, as well as central for our exploration of the area. The room was lovely and had all we needed for our stay. Thank you so much 😊

There were a few chilly days and I couldn’t work the heater, an extra blanket did the job.

Close to town and restaurants. Older place but comfortable with everything we needed.

A clothes dryer would have been good as we had 2days of rainand it wasn't easy to get washing dry.
