Lift a little slow but who cares, it's part of the antique charm

Housekeeper Amelia from Fiji was super friendly and did a great job at cleaning our room

the surroundings : a beautiful park to stroll through the historical background being the nurses quarters f the old asylum the art deco feeling the relaxed atmosphere

it was not made obvious thhat the bar and breakfast room were in a differnt place, a little bit down the road there should have been a pamphlet about the history of the place available on the premises

Love the history of the building. Our room was clean, inviting & adequate for our needs. We stayed x3 nights. The spa bath was well used during our stay!!! Will definately book here again!

Character features

Tired decor. Not particularly clean (shower and bathroom) Booked a room with bed and sofa bed, no sofa bed. Had to spend more to get a different room. Uneven paving to the back, difficult when using a walking stick
