the location was very good.

For what we paid, the bed was very basic, there was mould in the bathroom and the television could not receive free to air TV. As the TV could be turned on and streaming could technically occur, the staff felt this was sufficient. That only works if you stream of course. If you just want a bit of Aunty, too bad. The staff could simply not understand that this means, if you just want free to air, you don’t have a working television.

The motel is located away from the town centre. It was set in beautiful parklands The motel was intriguing in that it was converted from a former nurses’ home It was well appointed and a pleasant place to stay.

Whilst there were tea an coffee facilities and a toaster and microwave, there were no plates provided but the was cutlery and glasses, cups and saucers An occasional table would be an advantage saving the balancing of cups on the ledge in front of the microwave

The hot water for the spa during the night was not hot enough

We recently stayed at this motel and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The most significant issue was the lack of hot water in both the shower and the bathroom taps, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. Additionally, the room did not appear to be properly maintained. There were spider cobwebs in multiple corners, indicating that cleaning was not up to standard. The walls were also in poor condition, with paint peeling off in several areas, giving the room an overall neglected feel. Overall, the property requires better maintenance and housekeeping to meet basic expectations for guests. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and improves the conditions for future visitors.

Well, the fridge had food from the previous people who booked in, and it was not a pleasant smell or sight. The shower has zero water pressure. The toilet only had 1 roll when 3 people had booked the room. One would expect at least a spare roll somewhere. The toilet seat was broken which we had to fix Its a shame as this place is our usual go to place when we arrive in Beechworth

Bed was very comfortable, a very quiet location

Dated facilities, fridge on setting 2 with 7 being coldest froze our milk, yoghurt, fruit and everything else, hot water ran out after a 5 minute shower so not enough for 2 people!! Air conditioning not working so relied on 2 small heaters …was 5deg in the morning outside. Other people we chatted to complained of limited tv channels ie.. only 2 stations available!! Our tv was fine but needed an ‘update’ before watching! My wife felt that carpets needed a clean!! We paid for an extra night at check in but the manager kindly allowed us a refund and we went home early!! Whilst we were able to walk into town be mindful that it is a 1km walk uphill to return!!
