I loved that I could park right outside and go right into my room. I love the small hotels. They are currently renovating. The rooms are smaller, but the beds are comfortable. The staff I met while there were so nice. I would definitely stay here again.

What began as a travel nightmare turned into one of the highlights of our Colorado adventure, all thanks to the extraordinary kindness of KC and the welcoming embrace of Dove Creek Inn. Picture this: Memorial Day weekend, car broken down near Dove Creek while traveling from Arches National Park to Cortez with kids in tow, and no roadside assistance available. As evening approached and worry set in, we stumbled upon Dove Creek Inn - and what a blessing that turned out to be. KC, the owner, didn't just provide us with a room; he became our guardian angel. This remarkable man went above and beyond anything you'd expect from an innkeeper. He personally arranged tools, spent his own time fixing our car, and even crawled under our vehicle to remove a broken engine under-tray. By morning, we were ready to continue our journey, but honestly, we were almost sad to leave. The inn itself is a gem - exactly what you'd hope for in a cozy bed and breakfast. Everything was spotlessly clean, genuinely family-friendly, and had that warm, homey atmosphere that makes you feel like you're staying with beloved relatives rather than at a commercial establishment. The rooms were comfortable and thoughtfully appointed, perfect for families traveling with children. Location-wise, Dove Creek Inn is ideally situated for exploring the region's natural wonders. We were perfectly positioned between Arches National Park, Mesa Verde National Park, and within reach of both Telluride and Durango. It's one of those sweet spots that puts you right in the heart of Colorado's most spectacular country. But what truly sets this place apart isn't the comfortable accommodations or convenient location - it's KC's incredible generosity of spirit. In an age where genuine hospitality can feel rare. Thank you, KC. You turned our breakdown into a breakthrough in kindness.

Your basic small town motel. Fine for a stopover just across the border from Utah. There's a pretty decent pub nearby for eating (Bangers), and you can grab breakfast a couple hundred yards away. I was treated well.

The cleaning staff were super nice! And the lady I turned the key in to was very apologetic about the construction and smell of mildew. Looks like it will look great when construction is complete.

No one at front desk you must call for someone to come check you in. I reserved a smoking room with 2 double beds. I was put in a nonsmoking room with one bed and charged the same price! The bathroom smelled like mildew. I ran the bathroom fan all night and it was manageable. No trash can in the bathroom seemed odd too 🤷‍♀️

Casey and his wife were great.You helped us find places to go sightseeing ect . I would recommend this motel.
