The 45 mins private hot spring and it was super hard to book for a time slot.

The staff were rude and have no smile when we checked in. We cannot checked in early even we just wanted to leave our luggage with the front desk. We didn’t even care if the room is ready or not because we have to go out for the day. Therefore, by the time we came back to the property, we only had the evening or near checked out time spots available for the 45 mins private hot spring.

Sea view is fabulous.

The service is not as good as we experienced in other same level hotels

The ambiance of the ryokan. Also the staffs are amazing.

I love the food but we were hoping there was also an option for other menu like meat, our friends who went with us are big on meat so the breakfast and dinner menu which were fish based was a bit discouraging for them.

The private onsen rooms were great. Both dinner and breakfast are amazing.

The view of the room was indeed stunning.

We weren't informed of the bus service or the best way to the hotel so we had to walk a dangerous road from the train station. The primary staff who served us meals was not very friendly, barely giving us any helpful instructions on how to wear yukata, what the dishes are, how to enjoy them best, etc.

Bousui - really magnificent ryokan hotel which takes special place in my wife’s and mine hearts😄! Room was very big, all over traditionally designed, very atmospheric and comfortable! Hot spring baths were amazing too: luxurious, very comfortable and with beautiful sea views! Premium gazebo was especially great! Really worth it! Employee, who helped us in room was very attentive, helpful and made all we could need to take all the best from our staying! Special thanks for pleasant conversations and tons of very interesting information! You made our staying unforgettable! Additionally to traditional breakfast, we asked for Kaiseki dinner - it was third Kaiseki we got, and truly, the most delicious and impressive! Fish was as fresh as it is possible, serving was full of beautiful and very interesting details! Last, but not least part of our rest was massage in award winning GECCA SPA: to be honest, Suzune gave me greatest massage I ever got! She was so attentive and diligent, made message with so masterpiece, that I’ve got extreme pleasure and relief! More over, it was first time when I feel, that therapist don’t just do it work, but really cares of me!🙏🏻 Btw, my wife never liked massages, but even she was really impressed by Suzune’s work! Thanks to all Bousui Team for one of the most unforgettable experiences in Japan for our all three trips! Really hope to come back as soon as possible! All the best, Lora and Aleksey
