Masingitana Tented Camp

I had a very authentic experience Bhili and his team took a lot of time for me and gave everything to create great memories. I didn't feel like a guest, I felt like part of the family. I was warmly welcomed. I chose the camp while my parents were at Saby Sands, which was the best decision for me and my parents envied me for such a great time. On the day of departure our car had a flat tire, Bhili and Matteo not only showed us the nearest workshop, but even drove there with us. I have never experienced so much warmth. I can recommend everyone to spend their time there, lots of authentic experiences and great animal sightings I will definitely come back

Bhili and his team were exceptional...they went out of there way to make everything a great memory...you couldnt ask for better hosts...a small close knit outfit thats is full of love and laughter..please support this Business they are striding along side the big boys with honour...we will be back with friends

The staff was friendly

The lodge was not easy accessible at all, more than 2 hours drive on 40km , unbearable road conditions. The tents are not fully equipped with no fridge/freezer we were unable to store or food the lodge only have a small freezer available but already full. Not self catering but not a real restaurant also. The bathroom had a horrible smell and the lights died and we were left in the dark for the night. The dinner was just beef stew and sump with tasteless gem squish soup for a starter. The gate is within distance but considering the road conditions the drive there is roughly 2.5 hours. We arrived during unwelcoming weather off coarse no fault of the lodge but there are not really any amenities available for rainy weather , im sure in dry conditions it would be much lovelier. In my opinion a little overpriced

The tents are very old. Beds are not up to standard. On their information page, they have overstated things that are not in the tent. For example, it says there is a fridge and dining cam be dine in a tent. The pictures indicate so as well, but it is not the case. Eating at the tents is discouraged.
