Food was fantastic and very large and comfortable rooms.

Friendly staff, clean room, plenty of parking. Breakfast was included and was excellent.

I wish the window curtain did a better job of blocking the morning light

Reception unmanned as also running the pub/restaurant.

All staff were excellent. All food was excellent. Conveniently situated to visit Blenheim and a frequent bus service outside the hotel for Oxford.

Bedrooms were very “ tired”. I understand that there are plans to upgrade. Twin rooms only had one arm chair- requiring one person to sit on the bed or on a dining chair. At the dining area it would have been nice to have an area to relax and have a drink, interact with other guests. There was only dining tables. Lack of information leaflets for local area eg. Woodstock, Blenheim and Oxfordshire.

Restaurant food was good. Staff friendly.

Room and cleaning of room excellent . All meals and breakfast were of a high standard . All staff very helpful , pleasant , service of drinks at bar and meals were also good . Defiantly visit again .

All excellent no complaints

Quiet room, comfortable bed. Rooms are away from the main rd behind the pub with window opening towards the back so even with window open it was not too noisy. Good breakfast if having a cooked one. Good location for Blenheim Palace Good value for bnb Evening meals good but a bit on the pricey side . Steak and ale pie meat very tender and plentiful but not much mash and a small quantity of peas only. Lots of lovely gravy in the pie so didnt need the jug of gravy which came with it ( different gravy to the pie) Need more veg in my opinion. Enjoyed the chicken biriyani .plenty of tender chicken and nicely spiced. Choice of where to eat - more atmosphere in the bar area.

Not much choice if having a continental breakfast. Not keen on the yoghurts Shower good but static high above bath No shower cap provided ( minor detail) Waited 30 min second day for cooked breakfast even though you had to choose it and the time the night before - frustrating as 3 guests who came in 10 min after me were served in advance. (Ist day it came as I was eating cereal - minor thing ) Too hot with duvet but have same problem anywhere. Prefer sheet and blankets so can remove layers as needed. Cannot access some terrestial channels on the TV
