Royal Host Motel

We stayed in a room with 3 queen beds which served our purpose for a family of 6. The rooms had a fridge and freezer, but it did seem a little outdated. The tub drain was in a poor condition and the bathroom itself seemed outdated and was a little small. The temperature controls worked well and the WiFi was working with no interruptions. There was no free breakfast.

Two words: Bedbugs. Roaches. Let’s not even get into the weird noises the room made or the smoke detector beeping because its battery is low. I think bedbugs and roaches covers all you need to know. Left about an hour after I checked in.

The woman that runs the place was nice and as accommodating as possible. She puts a lot of care into keeping the place up.

The hotel is not modern, and the location is in an area that is clearly on the decline, but that's not the Hotel's fault. It seems everything is now located closer to the I-10 and I-25 highway corridors. There were no food options anywhere close by.

Pleasant staff. Clean.

Friendly, responsive and accommodating staff. The room was basic but clean, comfortable and quiet. The air conditioner worked well.
