Valhalla Inn

The location of the Valhalla was good; just off the main hwy through New Denver and easy to find. It was the only motel or hotel in New Denver. The bed was reasonably comfortable.

The hotel was old and smelled musty in the hallways and rooms. The room was small and had only a mini-fridge and no microwave. The internet did not work, and the television had only six channels. The door in the bathroom opened toward the bathroom sink, rather than toward the wall. The restaurant in the Inn was not open, and the receptionist could not promise that it would be open for breakfast, siting the fact that it depended on whether she needed to attend to her baby in the morning.

The breakfast was great, the location was convenient to everything

Breakfast was just the way i would make it myself. The owners are wonderful, honest hardworking folks.

The exhaust fan in the bathroom of room 20 needs some TLC. The bearing is worn.

Property was very clean. And the staff were exceptional! Very friendly, very helpful!

Location was close to family at Summit Lake. Room was quiet, even though we were near highway 6. Clean sheets and hot water, nice little kitchenette plus dishes. Fridge coffee pot and sink. Lots of parking, well lit hallways. The staff were exceptionally friendly and kindly accommodating. Restaurant food was hot and reasonably priced.

It’s an older Inn, and if you’re looking for a fancy boutique style place to stay this is not the place. We were quite happy there for a couple nights and a very last minute booking!
