Advertising there are canoes reviews in late December reviews refer to paddle boat and canoe... so this is one of the reasons I chose the spot, remote and activities on the water for the whole family...only to get told I can't use anything but a 2man canoe... so how does a family of 4 do that together??? So we drove to town and paid extra money to be together on a water floatation device and fish. Obviously this set the tone after just climbing out the car before we got to the actual tent. Hygiene/housekeeping, the following needed attention, tent itself interior is dirty, bedding had weird marks on, kitchen draws dirty(sticky and grimy), pots and dishes needed to be washed from being oily and not washed decently), fridge had a fish smell. Fridge....monkeys, we had 2 repeat visitors, cute and all but the literal rope which owner provided was not enough to stop theft and messy situations. Really not pleasant to have to re buy food and come up with constant monkey proofing....a fridge lock would work. ⁷ The house next door, no issues until the mornings when you are trying to sleep but are awoken before 7am to loud noises and vehicles. They have the most beautiful location... so much potential...

The monkeys scratching by our food when we not there. Owners to maybe consider putting some type of lock on the fridge.
ZAThe accommodation offered everything you required, the beds are comfortable and all around very clean. The view is spectacular and the sounds of nature the only sound arround. Close to Buffelsbaai, Knysna and Sedgefield beaches I recommend it to anyone who needs to recharge their batteries, it was magic.
