ZAit is a gem. such beautiful surroundings. very friendly owners. really value for money. I can't wait to go again.

ZAThe location of Bushbuck camp is top rated, and we enjoyed the outdoor shower.
The premises were very dirty, and the smell of mould in the tent was almost unbearable. The cutlery needs a change. The braai grid was not cleaned. There were no dishcloths to use.
ZAI loved the view, loved everything about the tent, the beds and the duvets was exceptional.. Outdoor kitchen and braai area was so nice.. Did not get to use the canoe but loved being there in rainy weather to...Enough confortable chairs to watch the view for every guest that can stay there would be nice..Definitely coming back!!!
There isn't anything I disliked except all the rain spiders in the outdoor bathroom.. Maybe closing it off and putting in a big window to still see the view is an option..

ZAI loved the beautiful nature that surrounded us. Beautiful view. To be able to go out on the lake with the canoe or paddle board whenever we liked. Loved going to sleep and waking up with the sound of nature all around. The fresh air and seeing the knysna loerie several times. It is quiet and away from the noisy roads and town.
There was a weird sewerage smell coming out from under the deck after a day or 2 where the toilet is. The double bed mattress is old and uncomfortable. Could feel the springs sticking out and both my feet and my husband's feet hung over the bed on the end where there's a wooden beam. Very hard and uncomfortable on one's feet. We asked about the water and they assured us it's safe to drink, but all of us soon had diarrhea and it soon stopped when we stopped drinking the water. I can't say for sure that it was the water, but that's our suspicion. There was also not enough toilet paper for a family of 4 and they never warned us to bring our own toilet paper with. The road there is not great. Single track, long winding difficult road to use. So when you run out of toilet paper or anything else it's not quick or easy to get something from the shop. I know there's not much they can do about it, but it is good to know before you go.
